Amazingly, everything was bigger and better than last year, the weather was gorgeous and the city came out in big numbers to experience our magical festival.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined in, bought tickets, encouraged and supported the festival this year, helping to make it such a success.

We have one final event this year: An Audience with Barrie Rutter, on 1st October at the Ripon Arts Hub, presented in partnership with Ripon Poetry Festival. Ticket have been on sale for a while already, and we’re expecting another sold-out show.

Ripon Theatre Festival is managed by Ripon City Festival Trust 1986 (Registered Charity: Number 514981) with support from Ripon Together.
The Ripon City Festival Trust has a long track record of co-ordinating community events which benefit the people of Ripon, including Ripon By the Sea and the annual Pancake Races.
Ripon Theatre Festival is being run by a small group of volunteers as a sub-committee of the Trust.
The festival welcomes professional performers onto our city streets and venues, but it’s the people of Ripon who will really make the festival fly!

The festival costs over £20,000 to stage. We are very grateful to all those who have supported us in our journey so far, but of course we constantly need to find new sources of funding. As a registered charity, all the funding we raise goes directly towards making the festival happen.
