Tributaries

A celebration of one of Yorkshire’s Rivers: the River Yore as told by Fell-Foss Theatre and the people of Ripon and Wensleydale, with the Dales Countryside Museum and Ripon Workhouse Museum.
The culmination of a project along the river’s watercourse, creating theatre from the head of the dales to its cathedral city. Discover the spirit of the river and its importance to those who have lived along its banks through the ages. Explore history, folklore and the current challenges facing the health of our rivers.
Tributaries promises to be a rich theatrical event, with music, poetry, Greek choruses, a giant and a kelpie!
