RTF 2024 got off to an egg-cellent start on Thursday 21st with comedian and anarchist cook, George Egg.
His latest show Set Menu formed the central dish in an evening of food, fun and festival info.
Ripon Arts Hub was packed to the rafters with people keen to enjoy the show and be the first to get their hands on the 2024 Festival Guide – hot off the press.
Canapés from festival sponsors, Valentino’s, were served on arrival, but audience members were also able to taste some of George’s delicious creations, cooked with the most unlikely implements and devices.
As an aperitif, members of the Festival Team outlined highlights for 2-7 July plus some of the outreach and other projects planned in the run-up to our summer festival.
Festival Guides will soon be winging their way to shops, cafés, pubs and many other locations in the city and beyond. Make sure you pick up a copy and start planning your festival.
