Young people with an interest in theatre and performance are invited to an exclusive workshop with actors from the upcoming Happy Place show.
Forget About The Dog theatre company will be opening the festival with their comic dystopian show, but are working with young people in Ripon in advance of their visit. As well as delivering a feel-good workshop at the YMCA Teen Drop-In session, this drama workshop which is open to all 12-18 year olds uses drama games and theatre techniques to explore the themes of the show.
Participants will also receive a discount code to attend the show in June. The work with young people is generously funded by the LOCAL FUND for Harrogate District.
The workshop takes place at Ripon Arts Hub on Wednesday 10 May from 6.30-8.30pm.
Places are free, but must be booked in advance.
