Customers and traders at last year’s Little Bird Festival Market loved getting up close and personal with many of our acts. Puppeteers and musicians, mime artists and stilt walkers mingled with the market as part of the Festival’s Family Day. We are so pleased that Little Bird organisers have not only come on board again as a venue for 2024, but have joined our group of valued sponsors.
Curators of beautiful and unique artisan markets across the region, Little Bird Markets have now spread their wings across the whole region with regular markets from Richmond to Easingwold, Leyburn to York and many points in between. But Ripon is their home town with a special place in the heart of the company’s MD, Jackie Crozier.
Festival Director Katie Scott says “Partnership with Little Bird Markets is a great fit for us. The company shares our love of the city of Ripon and values the ability of the arts to bring people together, brighten our towns and cities and boost the local economy. The festival likes to work with local businesses, particularly the independents, as we know that they make a major impact and create a sense of community, just like the festival.”
The 2024 Little Bird Festival Market will take place from 10am-3pm on Sunday 7 July as part of our Sunday Family Day Ripon Theatre Festival has scheduled 12 acts to entertain market-goers throughout the day.
